Simon Jordan‑Meille is a Director of Public Policy and Regulation at the Investment Company Institute. He brings extensive experience in financial regulation and EU and French rule‑making processes. Over the past six years, he served in the international affairs department of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) in Paris—first as Advisor to the President, then as a Policy Officer in asset management regulation. In these roles, he contributed to the preparation and promotion of the AMF positions and priorities within international standard-setting bodies such as IOSCO and the FSB. He participated in the EU policymaking on asset management, particularly as AMF representative within the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) contributing to the drafting of technical standards. He also participated to the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union supporting the French Treasury during negotiations on investment funds legislation.
Prior to this, Simon worked at the European Parliament in Brussels as Policy Advisor to an MEP in the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (ECON), helping advance legislative initiatives on market‑based finance and sustainable finance. He began his career at a consultancy firm, focusing on prudential regulation, macroeconomic policy, and providing support and advice to firm’s clients on their strategic engagement with EU policymakers.
